If you ask Haddaway he’ll tell you: “…baby don’t hurt me, no more”.
If you ask most people, they usually refer to sex in these times.
Due to “love making”. But sex, is not love. Love exists without sex.
I equate love with God. And because God created love, the heavens and the earth and everything in and outside of it, that then includes love as well.
So how can we as humans create love or make love?
We can’t. Because if we could, we would and we would then try to make money off of it.
Love would have to be finite. But it’s not.
There’s no end to love, no shortage of supply or intended for some with money or special circumstances.
We can’t buy love.
At least not according to the Beatles.
But if so, then how much is love?
We can’t have love.
If so, where do you have it?
How do we keep it?
We can’t lose love.
Because we can’t lose what we never had.
Love is not a thing.
Love is not a person.
Love is not.
Love is not one love, but infinite.
And we feel it. And receive it.
When we allow it.
When we welcome it.
And when we do, we are able to give love.
Share it with others.
We can let it run through us. Overflow and be spread all around us.
An infinite account from which we make never-ending withdrawals.
Shopaholics listen up:
This summer-sale starts with deals so incomprehensible you just have to spend on it. You won’t be saving anything. But the more you spend, the more you will get.
That, is a law from our Father, delivered to us by his only begotten son.
Kind of like the rich will get richer and the poor will be poorer, but in a loving way. Like this,
“For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from his shall be taken away even that he hath”
So let’s start spending what is freely given to us.
I thank you Christ Jesus, our saviour, for dying for us and our sinful ways so that we may receive everlasting life.
